Privacy Policy

I’m Avery Dunn, I run Beauty Tips Online alone, and I’m not in the data business. I collect the bare minimum needed to answer your emails and keep the site online — no selling, no mailing lists, no ad trackers of my own. Everything on this page is in plain English, no legal maze.

What I actually keep

  • Your emails. When you write to info@beautytipsonline.com, I keep the message just long enough to reply and fix whatever you reported. Then it sits in my inbox archive — never shared, never used for marketing.
  • Blog comments. If you comment on a guide, WordPress stores the name and email you typed, plus your IP address and browser info. That’s only there to catch spam bots before they flood the page.
  • Basic server logs. My hosting quietly records technical bits — IP, browser type, which page you opened, when. I look at those only when something breaks or someone tries to hammer the site.

What I never do

I don’t sell or rent any personal data, I don’t build profiles, and I don’t run my own analytics fingerprinting. If I embed something from outside — say a video or a database link — that service plays by its own privacy rules, so check theirs if you’re curious.

Cookies, without the maze

The site uses a couple of ordinary cookies — for example to remember that you already commented, so you don’t retype everything. Nothing sneaky. You can block or wipe cookies in your browser settings and the guides will still read fine.

Your data, your call

If you ever commented here or emailed me, you can ask what I have on you, or ask me to delete it. Just write to info@beautytipsonline.com from the same address and I’ll sort it out personally — usually within a few days.

How long I hold on to things

Emails live in my inbox while your question is open, then stay in the archive so I can look up what we already fixed. Comments stay attached to the post they were left on — unless you ask me to take yours down, then it’s gone. Server logs rotate on their own after a month or two, I don’t keep those around. As for safety: the site runs on updated WordPress, I’m the only one with the keys, and I don’t hand data to anyone, so there isn’t much to leak in the first place.

Kids and changes

This is a grown-up hobby blog and I don’t knowingly collect anything from kids under 13. If you’re a parent and think your child left info here, tell me and I’ll remove it right away. If I ever change how I handle data, I’ll update this page and bump the date at the top.
